The spirit with which this site was erected is that of a person who has found a beautiful and magnificent bundle of truth, called the Good News or the Gospel of Jesus Christ, thus, wishing everyone to come to know about it and share in the joy of the Fullness of the Christian Faith.
This site welcomes all Christians, and others as well, that we may all be one, as the Lord wished (John 17:22). If we start out with an open heart and mind, we can all come to the same Truth that Jesus Christ gave the Apostles and promised that the Holy Spirit would remind them of: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth (John 16:12-13).
Thus, the Holy Spirit gave the Apostle a refresher course, supernaturally, as Paul described in one of the earliest writings to go into the New Testament of the Holy Bible, compiled some 300+ years later; specifically, in First Thessalonians: “For our gospel did not come to you in word alone, but also in power and in the holy Spirit and (with) much conviction” (1 Thessalonians 1:5). Very telling words!
I am Catholic, and I am asking you not to leave because I said I am Catholic. I do realize that many of you have a bad (or worse) impression of the Catholic Church through hearsay accompanied by seemingly convincing arguments. Being trusting people, you accepted them, and then, you found corroboration in the attitude and conduct of many a Catholic. Well, there is a big difference between the Catholic Church and what many Catholics know and believe. You should not be interested in a lot of what Catholics do and profess, rather, in what the Catholic Church believes and professes.
I am Catholic, and I will be explaining the Catholic Christian Faith and defending it. When it comes to Faith and Morals, I have no opinion. I follow Church teaching. I mean, should I not accept all of God’s revelations? Of course, I should accept them, not leaving any out. Should I not follow all of God’s precepts? Of course, I should follow them, not leaving any out. This is only common sense, following scientific research principles devised centuries ago by the Catholic Church. They have been in use by all ever since.
So, I will be explaining/defending Church teaching. Now, with respect to each one of you individually, if I fail in one point or another, I will go to the Church and bring in the explanation/defense. On the other hand, if I do not fail in many a point, this would mean that the Catholic Church is the Church instituted by Christ our Lord with the promise that the forces of the Netherworld shall not prevail against her (Matthew 16:18); this is because we are to take the Gospel, the Word of God, in its totality and not with tunneled vision.
So, let us come together, not to find common ground, but, to accept all components of God’s revealed Truth. Impossible?! Nothing is impossible to God (Luke 1:37).
God bless.
Faithfully,
